Short version: the calculators run in your browser and we don't set cookies. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

TankRatio (tankratio.com) is run by Sumeet Joseph Desilva, who is the data controller for this site. Contact: hello@tankratio.com.
What we collect and why

Cookies
TankRatio sets no cookies and uses no local storage. If that changes (for example if we add ads), we'll update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it, before any non-essential cookie is set.
Who we share data with
- Cloudflare, Inc.: hosting, security, email forwarding and analytics.
- Google LLC (Gmail): where emails to hello@tankratio.com are delivered.
We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, as defined under California law. Both providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EU and UK under the GDPR, California under the CCPA, Brazil under the LGPD, Canada under PIPEDA, India under the DPDP Act, Australia under the Privacy Act), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, or get a copy. Email hello@tankratio.com and we'll reply within one month. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
We honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of any sale or sharing, even though we don't do either today.
Children
TankRatio is a general-audience site, not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you think a child has emailed us, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
We'll update this page before adding anything new that touches personal data, such as an email list, affiliate links or ads, and change the date at the top.
